Session Info
Newborn Session Package:
Newborns are definitely my favorite age to photograph. This can be the most difficult age to photograph, but as a mom, the newborn images of my own son give me the most joy. Being able to remember his fuzzy hair and his tiny features brings back the memories of when I first laid eyes on him. These fleeting moments should be captured and remembered always.
The best time to contact me is before you have your baby. I will then add you to my schedule around the time of your expected due date. Once your baby arrives, it is best to schedule your session within the first two weeks. The first week is best to get the sleepy peaceful poses. After two weeks, they are more likely to awaken during posing and baby acne can start to develop.
It is common for a session with a newborn baby to last 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for you to feed and cuddle your baby. I come to your house with my studio set up and props.
Premium Portrait Session Info:
I require a 50% deposit of the session fee to be paid in advance by either cash or check to secure your chosen date. It is non refundable should you cancel, but is transferable to another date in the event you wish to change the date of your appointment with at least 48 hours notice. I make special consideration for maternity and newborn sessions, due to their time sensitive nature. After receiving your deposit, your date will be secured and you will be e mailed the details of your session.
The session fee does not include any images, either prints or digital negatives. Any prints or digital negatives must be purchased separately. Session fees, include the photographers time and talent, access to a wide variety of props, and extensive post session editing, order preparation and fulfillment, and any custom cards or photo books that you order.
Maternity Portrait Session Info:
You feel like the day that your baby will arrive can’t come soon enough, but before you know it your pregnancy is over. How will you remember all those little details? The kicks and rolls of your unborn baby, your glowing skin, and how everyone looks at you in a new and special way. A maternity portrait session is the best way to capture these moments in your pregnancy and remember them forever.
Maternity portrait sessions are done on location. Your significant other is encouraged to be in the portraits with you. Siblings are also welcome, however the focus of the maternity session will be your beautiful belly. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 32-37 weeks of pregnancy, but can be done at any time after 30 weeks.

What to Wear:
Keep clothing simple, avoid white, and stay away from written logos. Some ideas for outfits that photograph well are, layered outfits, bare feet, and babies in their “natural state.” If you have more than one child, it is best to dress them in outfits similar in color, but they don’t have to match.
Preparation:
Please make sure everyone is well fed and well rested. If a child is not feeling well, it is better to reschedule. A typical session for toddlers and older children is 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. If we will be meeting at a park, please make sure to pack snacks, drinks, and a change of outfit for each child.
